Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen Lead iHeart Radio Music Awards Nominations

The iHeartRadio Music Awards will return on Monday, March 17, to celebrate their station’s most-played artists and songs of 2024. The nominees for the 2025 awards were announced Wednesday, and Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen lead with ten each for their inescapable hit songs this year. Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Sabrina Carpenter are right behind them, tied with nine nominations each.

In addition to the numerous categories, major artists will be celebrated for their iconic careers and contributions to pop music. This year, Lady Gaga will receive the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award to honor an artist’s impact on music and culture. “Few artists in modern history have taken creative risks with the level of success of Gaga. One of the best-selling musicians of all time, she is the true definition of a modern day artist innovator,” iHeartRadio said in a statement.

And Mariah Carey’s highly successful career will be honored with the iHeartRadio Icon Award. Another highlight is a new iHeart Radio award called Tour of the Century, which will be given to Swift for her historic Eras Tour.

This year’s nominations also include five brand new socially-voted awards, including Favorite Soundtrack, Favorite Broadway Debut, Favorite Surprise Guest, Favorite Tour Tradition, and Favorite K-pop Dance Challenge. Fan voting is already underway at iHeartRadio.com/awards.

The 2025 ceremony will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and will pay tribute to the city’s resilience amidst the devastation caused by January’s wildfires. Donations will be given to FireAidLA.com. “This year’s show will shine a light on the devastating tragedy that impacted Los Angeles and enable us to deliver on our commitment to the communities we serve,” John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises and Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer of iHeartMedia, said in a statement.
