FireAid L.A. Benefit Concert Unveils Venue Lineups, Waives Service Fees
FireAid is sharing more details about its benefit concert on Jan. 30. On Monday, FireAid revealed the lineups for Intuit Dome and Kia Forum, while sharing that ticket fees will be waived to ensure all proceeds go to those affected by the fires.
Kia Forum will feature a cohort of rock-tipped acts, including Pink, Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews & John Mayer, Green Day, Stevie Nicks, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Joni Mitchell. The Forum show will start at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m.
Intuit Dome will have a slightly poppier lineup, featuring Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, and Gracie Abrams, among others. Doors for Intuit Dome will open at 5, before the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for both one-night-only concerts go on sale starting Wednesday, Jan. 22, at noon PT through Ticketmaster. All proceeds from the FireAid concert will go directly to the event’s designated beneficiaries.
“Contributions made to FireAid will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation, for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters,” reads a press release, which adds that LA Clippers will be covering the costs associated with the event.
Music industry mogul Irving Azoff is producing the concert with Live Nation and AEG Presents. The Eagles, Azoff’s longtime management clients, announced on Wednesday that they’d donated $2.5 million for the concert.
The event will be broadcast internationally at select AMC Theatres, iHeartRadio, Apple Music, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, Max, SiriusXM, SoundCloud, Veeps and YouTube. Scopely, Capital Group, Venmo, American Express, Intuit, and UBS are among the show’s sponsors.
FireAid will air days before the Grammy Awards are set to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. on Feb. 2. The Recording Academy announced Wednesday that it would be shrinking its event lineup for the week leading up to the awards to focus on fundraising efforts. Several other organizations are also hosting benefit concerts to aid wildfire victims.
