Patrick Mahomes Gifts Chiefs Teammates Rolex Watches
Patrick Mahomes, once again, played Santa for his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.
Mahomes, 29, gifted the Chiefs’ offensive line an array of luxury presents, including a silver Rolex watch, Normatec Elite compression boots, white framed sunglasses and black cowboy boots from Lucchese. All of the goodies were packed into a red Yeti Tundra Haul cooler.
A picture of Mahomes’ gift was shared onto the Chiefs’ official social media page on Wednesday, December 18.
“QB1 spread some Christmas cheer by giving gifts to the o-line,” an X message read.
Mahomes was drafted by the Chiefs in 2017, going onto win three Super Bowl trophies for the Missouri-based NFL team. Each year, he makes sure to spread the holiday cheer with thoughtful presents.
“I got the O-Line a gift that they got today. I got them some golf clubs, some designer luggage to take on the road and some other little things here and there that they could have,” Mahomes previously said during a December 2022 appearance on Audacy’s The Drive radio show. “I tried to get everyone a little something. All the O-Line’s telling me they wanna golf, so I got them all custom fitted golf clubs, so hopefully they can pick up their game and they’ll be able to go out and play a few rounds with me.”

Mahomes, who is an avid golfer, upped the ante the next Christmas and got his teammates customized golf carts.
“I got that golf cart, the club car, at home and I’m like, ‘Man, this is sweet.’ I was thinking of [gift] ideas and I wanted to change it up from what I’ve done in past years,” he said in a Chiefs press conference in December 2023. “I figured I’d get them something I really enjoy. … They enjoyed it [and] were going around Arrowhead [Stadium in them].”
Mahomes added, “They do a lot for me, so I’m gonna take care of them as well.”
His teammate Travis Kelce later revealed on his “New Heights” podcast that most of the O-Line was “flying around” the parking lot after Mahomes delivered the gifts.
“I was trying to get out of the parking lot and everybody’s just flying around,” Kelce, 35, recalled at the time. “Those things are street legal, so they’re going about 35 miles per hour.”
This year, Mahomes, Kelce and the rest of the Chiefs have a football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day. In a December 11 press conference, Mahomes gushed that he was “excited to play on Christmas.”
“You never want to play this amount of games in this short amount of time,” Mahomes quipped. “It’s just not great for your body, but at the end of the day, it’s your job. You have to come to work and do it.”
The Chiefs last played a game on Sunday, December 17, and have another matchup on Saturday, December 21.
