Meghan Markle and Prince Harry put on a rare display of PDA at the 2025 Invictus Games.
Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, were pictured kissing and cosying up to one another at the opening ceremony, which took place at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday, February 8.
In one photo, Meghan can be seen leaning her head on Harry’s shoulder as they sit in the audience.

The Duke of Sussex founded the Invictus Games for wounded, sick, or injured servicemen and women in 2014 after spending a decade in the armed forces.
“Your leadership did not end when you stepped off the battlefield or took off the uniform,” Harry told veterans in the crowd on Saturday. “It endures. The example you set is a compass for the world. We need you and we’ll always need you.”
Meghan also gave an impromptu speech at the event, which featured performances from Chris Martin, Katy Perry, Noah Kahan, Nelly Furtado and Roxane Bruneau.
“Well, hello, you. Hi, everybody. How are we feeling?” Meghan said. “So, I was not planning on speaking tonight and we just arrived a couple hours ago. I touched Canadian soil and I was like, ‘Ah, feels like home.’ We are so excited.”
Meghan took the opportunity to gush about her husband, who she said balanced planning this year’s event with “the big rush in the morning and getting ready for school and packing the lunches.”
Meghan and Harry share two children together: Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
“And my husband’s in all of that with us and then he’ll be on his phone and Archie will say, ‘Papa, why are you on your phone?’” Meghan recalled. “He’ll be like, ‘Because it’s Invictus. I’m getting ready for Invictus.’ It means so much to him. You are his family, just as we are his family.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren’t the only couple feeling the love at the sporting tournament. The Invictus Games Foundation shared a video of a man proposing to his girlfriend on the first official day of the games on social media on Sunday, February 9.
“We have our first official proposal of the #InvictusGames Vancouver Whistler 2025!” the caption reads. “Congratulation to Hannah and James!”
