Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin Share Their Thoughts on Waxing Pubic Hair
Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin did not hold back on their opinions when it comes to removing hair down below.
During the premiere episode of their podcast “Let’s Not Talk About The Husband,” which dropped on Friday, February 14, the reality TV couple had a segment where they spun a wheel of hot topics. When it landed on “Bush or No Bush,” Rinna, 61, was not thrilled with the subject, but Hamlin, 73, did not beat around the bush.
“I do like gardening and I do like pruning back all the stuff that grows too much,” the actor said. “But when it comes to the kind of bush I’m talking about, it’s the kind that grows in the nether regions. I don’t know, I like a good bush.”
Hamlin then turned to ask his wife if she preferred the Brazilian wax method, to which she agreed, adding that she doesn’t like being “bald” down there.
“What is bald? Bald … that’s pedophilia if you ask me,” Hamlin said, which earned a laugh from Rinna. “No, I’m serious. If I ever encountered somebody that shaved [their pubic area] …”
Rinna interjected, explaining that for a woman shaving down there, it is “the fashion.” Hamlin, however, wasn’t swayed.
“It’s sick if you ask me,” the L.A. Law actor quipped, causing Rinna to call him “judgmental”
Rinna jokingly said that Hamlin’s take “lost half” of their audience, and Hamlin was surprised that more people were not on his side.

“I just don’t get it. I don’t understand it. It’s unnatural,” he said. “I like a bush. Am I nuts? Am I crazy?”
Rinna then asked if he “hypothetically” ended up dating someone new and discovered they did not have any hair around their private areas would he turn that person away.
“No,” Hamlin stated, but noted he would make a small request. “I would ask them to grow it out. I would. I just find it wrong.”
Rinna then explained that for her preference, she doesn’t sport the bald look but does appreciate having the area “trimmed up nice.” This led to Hamlin to pointing out how he’s seen his wife receive waxing treatments before and how “painful” it looks.
“I see this right there in the most sensitive area of your body,” he recalled. “And she’s ripping this hair out. Oh my God.”
Rinna joked she should just get “laser at this point,” which her daughters — Delilah, 26, and Amelia, 23, — have recommended but noted that she’s a “creature of habit.”
Hamlin ultimately decided that he was fine with how Rinna treated her body.
“I can live with the Brazilian or whatever you call it,” he said. “But I couldn’t live with it bald. That’s crossing the line.”
Rinna and Hamlin have been married since 1997. In addition to Delilah and Amelia, Rinna is also stepmother to Hamlin’s son, Dimitri, 44, from a previous relationship.
