Drue Tranquill’s Wife Jackie Reveals How Much Super Bowl 2025 Tickets Cost
If you think football players get free tickets to the Super Bowl for their family and friends, think again — Jackie Tranquill, wife of Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill, has pulled back the curtain on how expensive it is to attend this year’s Big Game.
“They’re expensive,” Jackie, 29, said on the Sunday, February 9 episode of the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast. She then went on to explain that families are allowed to purchase up to six upper-deck tickets for $3,500 each, and up to 10 lower-deck seats for $5,000 each. Players have access to 15 tickets total.
Jackie added that “there wouldn’t be a Super Bowl without these players,” so it’s a little extreme to expect athletes to shell out so much money for their families and friends to attend. “So it’s like there would be no Super Bowl. It’s freaking so much money,” she continued.

She also said that getting ready for the Super Bowl is “not as glamorous as people might think.” Though her husband and his teammates arrived in New Orleans a week prior, she said she didn’t get to the city until “yesterday.”
“So they were here practicing here or a week,” she continued. “I was home solo with the three kids, taking care of them, getting everything ready.”
Niki Ikahihifo-Bender Mailata, who is married to Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata, also joined the podcast later in the episode and revealed that players have the option to trade tickets with one another. After admitting she and Jordan bought all 15 tickets they could, she added that being able to trade tickets allows players with smaller families to sell tickets to players who need more.

The 2025 Super Bowl is definitely bringing a lot of big names to New Orleans. Taylor Swift was sighted in the city Saturday, February 8, with Kylie Kelce, wife to former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. Swift is expected to be on hand to support boyfriend Travis Kelce during Super Bowl LIX. The pair were also joined by Swift’s parents, Scott and Andrea, as well as by the Haim sisters.
On Friday, Swift and Travis Kelce joined Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and and his wife Brittany Mahomes for a double date at Lilette.
If victorious on Sunday, the Chiefs will become the first team in NFL history to win the Super Bowl three times in a row.
