Bethenny Frankel Is ‘Thriving’ After Denying Engagement Speculation
Bethenny Frankel recently sparked engagement rumors with boyfriend Tom Villante, but marriage is not on her radar at the moment.
“Bethenny spent Thanksgiving in Miami with Bryn and cherishes their bonding time during the holidays,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the reality star, 54. “She is thriving in her adventure era.”
While the mother-daughter duo enjoyed their beachy holiday, the Real Housewives of New York City alum was photographed rocking a diamond ring on her ring finger. Rumors swirled that she was engaged to Villante, but Frankel — who shares Bryn, 14, with ex-husband Jason Hoppy — cleared the air via social media.
“This is what they call a flexible diamond ring and it is impossible to be sized,” she said while flashing the sparkly band in a TikTok video uploaded on Saturday, November 30. “So it only fits on this hand.”
Frankel explained that her decision to wear the ring was her “choice” and she wasn’t going to let anyone else prevent her from doing what she wanted.
“If I wanna wear a ring on my belly, on my teeth, on my toe, on my nose, I’ll do it,” she said. “So until further notice, I’m engaged to my daughter and myself.”
The week before Thanksgiving, Frankel took the next step with Villante by making things Instagram official.
“POV: he buys you a luxury heated throw & builds you a fire while you sip an overpriced latte,” she wrote alongside the clip, which featured Frankel filming the businessman as he tended to her home’s fireplace.
The video also showed Frankel enjoying a cozy moment on the couch wrapped up in the blanket as the song “Thank You to My Man (Casa di Remix)” by Latto played.
While the moment was Frankel and Villante’s social media debut, the couple have been linked for much longer. In September, Frankel and Villante were first spotted in Santa Monica, California. They were seen holding hands during the outing.
Two months later, the pair attended the New York City premiere of Yellowstone season 5B. Frankel walked the red carpet solo, but she and Villante coordinated their looks in all-black ensembles. The duo posed for a photo with Jay Cutler and Samantha Robertson at the event.
Prior to dating Villante, Frankel was engaged to Paul Bernon. Us confirmed in May that the duo called it quits after six years of dating. A mutual friend of the pair told Us at the time that “it just wasn’t going to work” between Frankel and Bernon due to their “different” personalities.
