Bachelorette Alum Katie Thurston Celebrates Engagement to Jeff Arcuri

A Bachelorette no more — almost!
Katie Thurston celebrated her engagement to comedian Jeff Arcuri on Saturday, November 30.
The two threw a party at Detroit’s Oak & Reel restaurant, welcoming guests ahead of their upcoming nuptials.
Before the engagement party was revealed, Thurston, 33, posted two photos on her Instagram Story, teasing that she had actually already said “I do.”

The first photo featured a chic black welcome sign, with the words “We’re so glad you’re here. Celebrating the love of Jeff + Katie.” Above the sign was a colorful decorative flower arch.
The second Instagram photo was Thurston giving Arcuri a kiss on the cheek, both donning spectacular wedding whites. The photo, which tagged Arcuri, was captioned “Did we just get married?”
The company that created the wedding sign in the first photo, Petal and Grain Designs, solved the mystery with their own Instagram Story.
“So excited to work with @thekatiethurston for her and @jarcuri engagement party 🤍,” they captioned the photo, revealing the true nature of the party.

Thurston posted more photos from their sweet party on her account, writing “About last night 🤍” in the caption, featuring snaps of their family and friends celebrating.
Thurston’s gorgeous dress was sheer, short and white, featuring sequin embellishments. She accessorized with a large white hair bow.
The next day, Thurston shared the link to the Revolve dress, and revealed where she bought it.
“I was lucky enough to buy mine from @nordstrom for 50% off,” she wrote in the caption. She wrote that she got the dress in a size medium and that “multiple colors” were available.
The professional comedian proposed to his FBoy Island star girlfriend earlier this year, with the couple announcing the big news on Instagram September 15.
“When you know, you know 🤍🖤,” captioned Thurston on a series of engagement snaps. The last post in the carousel was a video of the engagement itself, when Arcuri popped “the question” on the beach.
Arcuri and Thurston made their relationship Instagram official back in June, featuring a sweet photo of them kissing on her account. Thurston made a cheeky nod to Bachelor Nation in her caption, writing “Safe to say he’s making it to hometowns next week ❤️.”
The post got support from fellow Bachelor alum Tayshia Adams, who commented “Katieeee😍 i love thissss♥️” on the photo.
