Aspyn Ovard Defends Going to Party With Ex-Husband Parker Farris
Aspyn Ovard has seen the fan criticism after pictures surfaced of her attending a Halloween party with ex-husband Parker Farris, and she’s not having it.
“Babe, wake up, a new scandal just dropped,” the influencer announced in a video posted to her TikTok channel on Tuesday, October 29.
In the two-minute video, made as she was applying makeup, Ovard, 28, called out commenters who thought she staged her divorce for clout and defended her relationship with Farris.
“It’s not that crazy,” she said. “Remember when I said, ‘You’ll see him around, see him in background things, whatever, don’t be shocked.’ I also said it’s not like a traditional, typical divorce. Still, people are commenting, ‘Oh, my gosh I don’t think they’re even really getting divorced. I think this is all for views.’”
“It would be very sad and mean of me, regardless of what has gone on, to move us both to a new state and then try to isolate the only people that he knows away from him,” Ovard continued. “People are out here like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I lost respect for her, why would she go to the party with him?’ How about, ‘Oh, she’s so nice to make sure that he’s still included in everything as much as makes sense regardless of how much he hurt her?’”

Ovard filed for divorce from Farris in April after nine years of marriage and moved from Utah to California in July. The two share three daughters, Cove, 5, Lola, 3, and a third, born in April.
“We have been through a lot the last few years and just need support from our people and our people are there to support us any way that they know how or any way that we ask them to,” she said. “The best way for them to support us right now is to just be there for both of us.”
While Ovard has been private about the details of their divorce, she has made it clear that she and Farris will continue to be part of each other’s lives.
“I see this man pretty much every day. But you guys, it’s not weird,” she said. “Like, why did you take a photo with him? I was with him for a decade. I don’t think it’s that weird to take a photo. I don’t care if we’re divorced or not.”
Her post has compiled more than 133,000 likes and 500 comments, many of which praised Ovard for defending herself.
