Jason Kelce knows there’s no contest when it comes to the popularity of his and wife Kylie Kelce’s respective podcasts.
While speaking on the Friday, February 7, episode of the “Pardon My Take” podcast, Jason, 37, joked that Kylie, 32, will remind him that she carries the No. 1 series “all the time.”
“Hey, it’s all going to the same account,” Jason quipped. “It’s success across the board. I think the podcast on both sides has been amazingly successful and we have a lot of people that help us out with it and that’s been fun.”
Jason and his brother, Travis Kelce, launched their “New Heights” podcast in 2022 to chat about all things football. Jason famously played center for the Philadelphia Eagles for 14 seasons before retiring in 2024, while Travis, 35, is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
As “New Heights” continued to dominate the podcast space, Kylie eventually sought to make her own name in the market. She launched her “Not Gonna Lie” venture in late 2024, which has since become the No. 1 podcast, dethroning Joe Rogan’s eponymous recording.
According to Jason, he and Kylie are “still working out the scheduling of everything” to manage their work while raising their growing family. (The couple share three daughters and are currently expecting baby No. 4.)
“That’s one of the things I do miss about football, [where] everything is almost like the military and every hour of your day is scheduled to the T,” Jason said on Friday. “When you’re in the podcasting world, at least for me, between that and ESPN and all this stuff, you’re all over the place.”
He added, “When we’re both in that realm, we’ve had to figure out how we bring [organization] to this chaos a little bit, so that’s been a new experience.”
Kylie previously praised childcare workers for helping the couple handle their respective responsibilities.
“When I have to do something — coaching, something for Eagles Autism Foundation, something for [the] podcast, a doctor’s appointment even — I will schedule childcare,” Kylie said on a December 2024 episode of her podcast. “My husband could tell me 72 times that he is going to be in the house during the time when I have to leave it, [and] I will still schedule childcare.”
Kylie further pointed out that hiring a babysitter was definitely “not a knock” on Jason.
“My husband is busier than he has ever been,” she continued. “I see him less now in retirement than I did when he was playing football. We had a set schedule then, now it is an absolute free-for-all.”
Jason —who also joked on Friday that he has “no idea” how the pregnant field hockey coach puts up with him — and Kylie are setting aside their businesses for the weekend to watch Travis play in the Super Bowl. (They are planning to sit in a private suite with Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and other members of the family.)
Travis, 35, and the Chiefs are going for their third consecutive Super Bowl trophy on Sunday, February 9, in a game against the Eagles. Jason and Kylie have both been struggling with allegiances during the big game.
“I don’t know what I’m wearing yet. I’m still figuring that out,” Jason quipped on the Barstools Sports podcast. “I was going to wear a Cher T-shirt to just not wear anything Eagles or Chiefs.”
