Throuple squatted in Atlanta mansion for nearly a year before dramatic eviction

A throuple had been squatting in a palatial Atlanta mansion for nearly a year before their dramatic eviction, according to authorities.

Bodycam footage released earlier this week by Fulton County Marshal’s Department showed officers with long guns and body armor raid the 15,000 square foot Alpharetta mansion. 

Drone footage shows a Jeep and a Ford Mustang parked in the circular driveway that stood behind black gates.

Now it’s been revealed that the trio of squatters were in a romantic relationship, according to the Fulton County Marshal’s Office.

Abdurrashiyd York, Pamela Delpiano, and “others” are listed as the deedless intruders, according to court documents obtained by WSB-TV. Neighbors thought they belonged, according to the Marshal’s Office.

The throuple snuck in the door while bank JP Morgan was in the foreclosure process on the property. In January, the bank filed documents with the Fulton County court demanding the squatters leave, according to the report.

York filed a counterclaim – asking the bank for $50,000 for home repairs he allegedly made. 

Police found a dead dog inside the home, according to WSB-TV. York said he was trying to find a place to bury it.

The group cooperated with police at the scene and no arrests were made.

Georgia passed a reform law earlier this year in response to a rash squatting in Atlanta that saw 1,200 homes and apartments under occupation.

The Georgia Squatters Reform Act expedited the removal process for those illegal occupants.
