Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter arrested on child neglect, drug charges after infant found in house filled with meth pipes
Rosie O’Donnell’s infant grandson was found living in a Wisconsin house filled with meth pipes, dirty diapers, rotting food, garbage and razor blades — and the talk show host’s daughter was arrested for child neglect and drug possession.
Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, who was adopted as a baby by the actress, called cops last month after an apparent dispute with her boyfriend Jacob Nelund, according to reports.
But when cops arrived — the second time in week’s they’d been called to Chelsea O’Donnell’s home — the couple apparently downplayed the incident, according to In Touch.
This time, officers said found her 11-month-old son Atlas in his room, allegedly near a box of hypodermic needles, along with a meth pipe in the home containing residue.
Police also found evidence suggesting drug trafficking may have been occurring inside the house as a setup to cook meth was in place, according to the report.
Chelsea had 18 grams of meth on her, police said.
O’Donnell was charged with four felony counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, possession of meth, and possession of THC, In Touch reported Friday, citing court documents.
Marinette County, which sits just north of Green Bay, charged the younger O’Donnell with two misdemeanors including disorderly conduct and possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs.
The house was filled with rotting food and moldy dishes, police said.
“The inside of the home was disgusting [with] milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with feces and blood stains and used razor blades on the floor,” the documents obtained by In Touch said, according to the outlet.
One officer discovered a digital scale and other apparent drug paraphernalia under a baby crib, In Touch reported.
Police said Chelsea was “jittery” and “sweating profusely” when they arrived and that both she and Nelund appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
“It appeared Jacob and Chelsea were more concerned with their drug addiction than providing [the baby] with a safe and clean environment,” police alleged in their report.
A month later, on Oct. 11, police pulled Chelsea over and arrested her when they allegedly found a meth pipe.
Cops also alleged that she had pills including Oxycodone, Morphine Sulfate pills and Hydrocodone stuffed into her bra.
Police charged her with meth possession, bail jumping, and possession of narcotics – all felonies.
She will appear in court in November on both cases.
Rosie O’Donnell, 62, has been estranged from Chelsea on and off over the years.
She and her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter adopted Chelsea when she was a baby, but Chelsea moved out in 2016 when she was 18, and went to Wisconsin to be close to her biological mother.
“Chelsea is mentally ill,” Rosie told the Daily Mail in 2017.
“She] has been in and out of hospitals most of her life. Born addicted to heroin. She has had a tough road. She is very sick. She is not capable of truth or reason.”
Chelsea has three other children besides baby Atlas: daughter Skylar Rose, 5, Riley, 3, and Avery Lynn, 2.
Neither Chelsea or Jacob Nelund responded to calls from The Post Saturday.
