Maniac customer stabs NYC laundromat worker because his dry cleaning wasn’t ready: owner
A deranged customer jumped on a Brooklyn laundromat counter and stabbed a female worker Monday – all because his dry cleaning wasn’t done on time, according to police and the business owner.
The attacker — who cops said was wearing a gray shirt and white sneakers — took off right after the vicious assault at the Bath Avenue laundromat and ran north on 21st Avenue toward Benson Avenue, the NYPD said.
Meanwhile, EMS workers brought his victim, a woman in her 50s, to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn in stable condition.
Cops had no information about what precipitated the attack, which happened at about 1:50 p.m. — but the owner told a Post photographer the suspect flew into a rage when the items he had dropped off that morning weren’t ready for pickup.
This is a developing story.
