Strange riddle that diagnosed narcissist says could determine if you’re a psycho

A self-proclaimed narcissist has claimed the answer to a bizarre riddle about funerals can prove if they’re a psychopath. The man, known only by his TikTok user name, The Nameless Narcissist, said he and his sister, who he claims is a diagnosed sociopath, are the only ones to answer the riddle correctly.

Narcissism, psychopathy and sociopathy are forms of personality disorders and they each have their own unique traits. But those suffering from them tend to lack empathy, are known to be master manipulators and are ultimately selfish.

The TikToker, who also claims to be a “diagnosed narcissist”, said you can spot a psychopath by the way they answer the following riddle. A woman goes to her mother’s funeral and meets a man she has never met before.

The pair hit it off but once the funeral is over, they part wars. The woman then realises she never got the man’s name or details, and she doesn’t know who the man is or how to contact him.

Those at the funeral also don’t know the man, leaving the woman upset and thinking she will never see him again. Then, a week later, she kills her sister.

The Nameless Narcissist says how people answer the question of why the woman killed her sister may reveal if they’re a psychopath. He said: “If you’re having an idea about this but you’re not sure if you’re right or not, it’s not right because as soon as you know what it is, you’re like ‘oh yeah, dah’.”

He added: “For me, the answer was pretty obvious. It took me two seconds… Which was met with a very — how do I put it — very startled looks from my friends who asked it to me.

“And my sister answered it really slowly because she thought it was a trick question cause she found it so obvious.”

The answer is she murders her sister to arrange another encounter with the man. The thinking goes that given the sister and mother were related, there is probably a good chance that the man will also show up to her funeral.

The Nameless Narcissist said added there was “no research” proving the riddle helps diagnose psychos and that it should not be used to diagosed someone with a personality disorder but it didn’t stop him encouraging others to use on friends they expect of having one.

Personality disorders can only be diagnosed by trained medical officials and no one question or survey can assess whether someone is a narcissist, sociopath or psychopath. The criteria for Antisocial Personality Disorder, which includes sociopathy and psychopathy, include deceitfulness, impulsivity, aggressiveness, failure to follow the law, reckless disregard for safety, irresponsibility and lack of remorse.
