Sophia Kelemen: Six-month-old baby girl killed in Tenby multi-storey car park crash
A six-month-old baby girl has died after a crash in a multi-storey car park.
Sophia Kelemen, from the Leigh area of Manchester, was injured in a collision in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, on Thursday.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed Sophia was initially taken to hospital but died of her injuries the following day.
The force said the collision happened on the ground floor of the car park and a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said Flaviu Naghi, 33, from Wigan, had been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving without a licence and without insurance.
He appeared before Swansea Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on 7 February.
He was also arrested on suspicion of drink driving and drug driving, the force said in a statement.
He has been released on bail and the police investigation continues.

Tenby is a coastal town in the south of the county and forms part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Police said Sophia’s family were being supported by specialist officers.
They urged the public not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding her death.
