Huge boost for Farage as new poll shows Reform UK ‘largest party at election’
Reform UK would become the largest party in the House of Commons at an election, analysis of a new poll has suggested.
Nigel Farage’s party would win 209 seats at a general election held now, a projected result by Stats for Lefties, based on FindOutNow data, has claimed.
Labour, meanwhile, would lose 208 seats and end up languishing on 203 seats.
Reform UK would gain 204, number crunchers have suggested, with the Tories suffering further losses.
Kemi Badenoch’s party, it is thought, would end up on 82 seats – 39 down.
The Liberal Democrats, SNP and Green Party, meanwhile, would all gain constituencies.
Reform UK’s Chair, Zia Yusuf, shared the analysis on X on Sunday, predicting that it will be borne out by further research.
He said: “Reform would win a walloping 209 seats if an election were held today according to @LeftieStats analysis of the latest Findoutnow poll.
“MRP polls will be released over the next month reinforcing this. The UK is turning turquoise. There’s hope for Britain yet.”
Mr Farage and other leading members of the party are in Washington DC today for the inauguration of Donald Trump as the US President.
Yesterday, the Reform UK leader posted a photo of himself at Mr Trump’s victory rally ahead of the event.
A caption read: “We are so back.”
Mr Farage was proclaimed “the next prime minister of Great Britain” at a party overlooking the White House on Friday, The Independent reports.
Gerry Gunster, host the Stars, Stripes, and the Union Jack event, opened the reception’s speeches.
He said: “I hope when we are next gathered it is not in eight years but to celebrate Nigel Farage becoming the prime minister of Great Britain.”
He then suggested that the Reform UK leader “could put the great back in Britain again”.
Mr Farage said: “I actually do believe that we will win the next general election. He added: “I do believe I can become the next prime minister. I hope we do so quickly while Trump is still in office.”
