The footballing community gathered in Manchester to pay their final respects to Denis Law after he died last month aged 84.
The Scottish legend died on January 17 after being diagnosed with dementia in 2021.
The former Manchester United and Manchester City forward had a private funeral on Tuesday, attended by family, friends and familiar Manchester United faces.
Sir Alex Ferguson, Gary Neville, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Ruud van Nistelrooy were among the players and managers who attendance.
Football fans also attended – from a distance – to pay their respects.
Sir Alex paid tribute to Law in January, saying: “Once you knew Denis and saw him as a player, you just thought ‘wow, this is a player’.
“There is a saying in Scotland, ‘Who do you think you are? Denis Law?’.”
He went on: “He was the best Scottish player of all time. He was a fantastic player.
“He epitomises Scotland, fighting away, having a fight in an empty house. He was an incredible human being.”
Law remains the only Scottish player to have ever won the Ballon d’Or – considered one of football’s most prestigious individual awards.
No other man has scored more goals for the national team.
Alex Stepney, Willie Morgan and Brian Kidd were among Law’s former Manchester United teammates at the service, as was former Manchester City contemporary Mike Summerbee.

Hundreds of fans congregated to pay their respects, as the hearse made its way into the city centre from Old Trafford.
A condolence book was provided for fans at the stadium, and flags flew at half-mast.
A wake was due to take place at Old Trafford shortly after the funeral.
