A fire has broken out in a northbound tunnel near Waterloo Underground station in London.
London Fire Brigade and other emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of a blaze in the Kennington Tunnels on York Road, south east London this morning.
Firefighters have since managed to contain the fire.
As a precaution, sections of the northbound tunnel were closed, and people evacuated from the station.
The northern line is currently suspended between Charing Cross and Battersea Power Station.
There is a good service on the rest of the Tube line, according to TfL.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
