An American has been wowed by a McDonald’s in Britain – but cheeky Brits can’t take much notice of his glowing review – because of how he digested his samples.

McDonald’s is a cornerstone for many burger loving Brits and it looks as though for good reason. One American food lover travelled to the UK and sampled a British McDonald’s for the first time – and loved every bite.

TikToker ‘AJ’ took to the social media platform and shared a clip of him wolfing down an array of fast-food classics in super quick succession after placing an order at a London branch of the restaurant.

He said: “The menu is different. We ordered a couple of things that you can’t get in America so we will show you them when we get them.”

After placing his order, and taking away, AJ goes back to his presumed accommodation to give a full lowdown of what he bought, and what he thought.

AJ – who posts to his account @ajslambino – opted for a Double BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Mayo Chicken, fries, Mozzarella Bites and a Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry. All fairly standard items on a McDonald’s menu.

One condiement that caused him total confusion was the Rich Tomato Dip that he presumed was tomato sauce. His verdict was glowing. Talking about the cheese bites he said “oh my God – why don’t we have these in America?”

“They’re amazing,” he added. Another menu item he loved was the Double BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

He said: “Oh the barbecue – it adds a little kick to it.” And to round off his quick taste test was the Galaxy ice cream which he said was “out of this world.”

Despite America being the home of McDonald’s, as it was founded in California in 1940, the reviewer couldn’t scoff the food down him quick enough – leaving some TikTok commenters baffled over his technique.

His super quick scoffing impressed watchers, more than his enthusiasm for a slice of British McDonald’s. One cheeky commenter said: “How you’re not needing a drink between bites is admirable.”

AJ seemingly left seconds between his burger, and the McFlurry, with no break to cleanse his pallette. Another said: “The way you pigged all that down one after another was funny. Well done.”

“Dude put ice cream in his mouth with a burger,” added one more fellow TikToker.
