American tries full English for the first time and loves one very British item

An American has fallen in love with a full English breakfast as he reviewed the iconic British dish – and he has a sweet spot for brown sauce.

More specifically, the TikTok content creator was not a fan of black pudding but loved the sausages and the beans on toast.

The creator @kalanighosthunter, who regularly reviews different British treats, visited the Blues Café in Swindon to try their full English.

On the black pudding, he said: “Not my absolute favourite by any means, it’s not bad, but I feel like it’s just – I don’t know, it’s just not my favourite.”

But after trying the sausages, he added: “That’s tasty, but something I’ve learned here. Brown sauce needs to just go all over.

“I did not know I was going to like beans on toast, but this is delicious. The flavour pairing is really good on that.”

He also explained the differences between the bacon you find in the UK compared to that of the US.

The food enthusiast continued: “This is a lot different than the US but I really like this one. I won’t say I like it better than my US bacon. I like the crispy bacon at home. This has a lot of really good flavour.

“Dipping it in the egg yolk, that might be a crime over here but man I love it. I don’t know if it’s a sin over here but I love combining different things on the plate.”

Commenters from the UK quickly spotted that the TikTok creator had made an unusual inclusion to his full English – onion rings.

One person reacted: “In all my British life I have never seen onion rings on a full English.”

Another said: “Onion rings on a full English? That’s just wrong.”
