The ‘heartbroken’ family of a mum-of-three has paid tribute to her ‘beautiful soul’ after she died in unexplained circumstances.

Former police officer Bethany Wooldridge, 27, was found collapsed at her ‘dream place’ eight days before Christmas.

She leaves behind husband Josh Wooldridge and their children Tommy, four, Lylah, seven, and Alyssia, 10.

Josh said that the family is ‘heartbroken’ and ‘devastated’ by the loss.

Beth, who was known as Bee to friends, and her family had only just moved to their home in Worfield, near Bridgnorth.

She left her role at West Midlands Police in January and had also worked as a West Midlands Ambulance Service call handler.

The young mum’s death is ‘unexplained’ after she was found collapsed at the family’s home on December 17.

An inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned.

In a crowdfunding appeal, Beth’s sister, Tory, said: ‘Beth was the absolute best thing in our lives and we all absolutely adored her, her loving, caring, thoughtful nature will never be forgotten.

‘Beth, Josh and the 3 kids had just moved house to their dream place Worfield in Bridgnorth. Everything beth wanted she achieved.

‘She was so so fierce when it came to her children and husband, and would protect those she loved the most more than anything.

‘She had such a beautiful soul, and we were all so proud of her.’

Tory asked for well-wishers to support the GoFundMe appeal in her sister’s memory, which has raised £2,586 from 148 donations so far.

She said: ‘As a family we are broken, and will continue beths memory on forever. Words will never describe the hole she has left in our hearts that can never be filled.

‘With it being such a devastating time, and so close to Christmas, as a family we are looking to raise funds, for her husband Joshua Wooldridge and their 3 beautiful children, to go towards funeral costs and for them as a family to use as they see fit during this life changing and heartbreaking time.’
