Offset Teases New Music With Gunna, Stoking Online Chatter About a Joint Album

Fan have been clamoring for Offset and Gunna to drop a whole tape together.

The duo have newer tracks, like “Prada Dem” and “Style Rare,” and older ones, like “Beat the Case” and “Wild Wild West,” that have highlighted the chemistry between the two Atlanta stars. So when ‘Set gets on social media to tease songs that they’ve made together, fans start asking about a collab album.

The Migos member fanned those flames last night (Oct. 2) when he got on Instagram Live and once again played some unreleased music he has with Gunna. One of the songs he played is tentatively called “Fresh Out the Can.”

“They been waiting on this, this the one they want,” Offset said before screaming, “This the one they want!”

He also played other songs where he rapped along to them, with one of them having a Turbo producer tag at the beginning.

Earlier this summer, Offset teased another track with Gunna in the back of a whip where he also rapped along as if he’s been playing all these songs for his own enjoyment instead of giving the fans what they want.

A few months after Gunna was released from jail, he posted a series of fashion pics on his Instagram with fans spotting Offset in the last couple slides. They were also spotted in Paris together during Fashion Week, where they again teased unreleased tracks for the likes of LeBron James.

All this music Offset has been teasing could be for the follow-up to his 2023 LP Set It Off. Or will they give the people what they want and drop a collab tape? Billboard has reached out to reps about the possibility of a joint project.

Recently, Offset was in the news for all the wrong reasons. He and his estranged wife Cardi B got into a public back and forth on social media as they head for divorce, with ‘Set accusing Cardi of cheating while pregnant.
