The Bachelor season 29 leading man Grant Ellis has made connections with a few of the women competing for his heart, but his relationship with Litia Garr is the strongest, so he should’ve ended his season early and left with her. On premiere night, Grant, a now-31-year-old former professional basketball player day trader who’s originally from Newark, New Jersey, was captivated by Litia, a 31-year-old venture capitalist from Salt Lake City, Utah. During Litia’s premiere night limousine entrance, she admitted to Grant that she didn’t know anything about basketball, but he replied that he could always teach her.

Litia then said that she’d make him a deal that if he brought the skill, she’d bring the sparkle, and she handed him a sparkly silver basketball. Grant said that their nicknames would be Skill and Sparkle. They later shared a conversation and a kiss, and he gave her the first rose at the rose ceremony. Grant and Litia’s connection has continued to grow, so he should’ve followed in Bachelorette season 16 star Clare Crawley’s footsteps and ended The Bachelor season 29 early in order to pursue his relationship with her.

Grant & Litia Have The Strongest Connection

During The Bachelor season 29 episode 2, after the group date, Litia and Grant admitted to each other that they were sick of dating. Grant told Litia that he wanted to care for somebody, be there for her, and help her grow, and he said that he thought that he could do that with her. Litia said that she felt the same way. Grant then confessed that he falls kind of fast, and Litia said that she did too. They then shared a kiss.

In his confessional, Grant said that he felt that he and Litia had reached a certain level of emotional intimacy, and it’s one of the things that makes him fall. He concluded by saying that she gave him hope that his Bachelor journey was going to work out. This connection continued when Grant chose Litia to have a one-on-one time dinner with him after an episode 3 group date in which they volunteered at Vanderpump Dogs. Litia said in her confessional that she felt that their connection was mutual, and that things seemed to be going in the right direction.

During dinner, Grant told Litia that he felt that their connection was one that wasn’t easy to come by. He said that he really felt that she was somebody that he could see in his future. Grant later said in his confessional that Litia could potentially be his future wife, so he was giving it everything he had.

Grant told Litia that he was starting to develop feelings for her, and it wasn’t something that he could hide because he wears his emotions on his sleeve. Grant and Litia have a much stronger connection than any of the other women. Grant didn’t tell anyone else that he felt that he could be falling for her, so he should’ve ended his season early to continue to pursue his connection with Litia. There was no reason for him to date all of the other women and potentially risk his relationship with Litia if she was so far ahead of everyone else. If he truly saw her as his future wife, he should’ve pursued only that connection.

In his confessional, Grant said that he was so excited. He shared that he picked Litia to go to dinner because, not only is she beautiful, but she’s also so genuine.

Grant added that Litia had a nurturing spirit about her that he felt was something that he was looking for. He said that, during the group date, she gave him a glimpse into his future, so he couldn’t wait to get to know her more. In her confessional, Litia gushed that she was so happy that she was there, and that she felt so lucky.

Litia told her that her father passed away in a car accident when she was three months old.

Litia said that her mom was her greatest example of strength and resilience because she couldn’t imagine losing her husband and having a little baby at 23 like her mom. She shared that her grandparents and her mom’s siblings made her feel so loved and so special, and she felt really lucky to have her support system. Litia admitted that it was tough for her to be away from them, and Grant said that he understood that.

In her episode 2 confessional, Litia said that what Grant said was triggering for her because when it came to relationships, she’s been told no for sure, and that was why she was there. Litia then explained to Grant that his comment was a trigger for her because she gets told no all the time. Grant apologized to her for saying it and said that he felt like he came off wrong, and he made a quick judgment.

Litia cried with Grant as she talked about her past relationship. She left the conversation saying in her confessional that he made her feel seen and hopeful, and that she was so grateful for how he responded. Grant and Litia worked through their issue, which was beautiful to see. However, this wasn’t the case for the drama Grant experienced with Carolina Sofia and Rose Sombke.

When Grant confronted Rose because she’d told Carolina that Grant told her that he was thinking of her the whole time that he was dancing with Carolina, he actually walked away from their conversation in anger. The fact that he wanted to work things out with Litia during their conflict proves that he cares the most about her. Grant and Litia can overcome any obstacle because they know how to communicate with each other.
