Sabrina Carpenter and Christina Aguilera Actually Look Related in a Video Teasing Their Collab

Sabrina Carpenter is “obsessed” with her “mom,” Christina Aguilera, and we are obsessed with this iconic duo.

On September 18, Xtina posted a TikTok of herself and Carpenter, in which Carpenter lip-syncs audio from an episode of The Kardashians in which Kylie Jenner says, “I’m obsessed with my mom.” As the producer voice in the audio asks, “So you’re saying, you’re her favorite,” the camera pans to reveal Aguilera.

The voice-over continues, “That’s exactly what I’m saying. I’m her favorite. We actually have a relationship like she has no other kids.” In the video, Carpenter and Aguilera hug as Carpenter points to herself and mouths, “Only me.”

Aguilera captioned the TikTok “Obsessed,” and Carpenter added in the comments, “Sabrina was found screaming.”

The clip appears to have been shot during a behind-the-scenes moment from Aguilera’s Spotify Anniversaries episode, celebrating the 25th anniversary of her eponymous first album. Rolling Stone has reported that Sabrina Carpenter is slated to join Christina Aguilera for a duet during the episode. “I wanted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of my debut album in a way that brings together the past and present,” Aguilera told RS. “Recording this project with Spotify was both magical and nostalgic, resurfacing some of my sweetest career memories. I laughed, I cried, I reconnected with old friends, and I made some very special new ones.”

It seems safe to say that one of those “very special” new friends is Xtina’s music industry daughter, Sabrina Carpenter.
