Pictures of Young Pamela Anderson Show How Far She’s Come

It’s no secret that the Pamela Anderson we know and love today looks a lot different from young Pamela Anderson, when she first became a famous bombshell on Baywatch. Back then, Anderson was known for her voluminous blonde hair, low-cut tops, and dramatic makeup. These days, Anderson favors restrained, chic, monochromatic looks and goes completely bare-faced.

“I realized as a very young child that I was playing roles my whole life. I had such a strong imagination. And it’s just what I did. I didn’t realize that was a career,” Anderson told Glamour in September 2024. “And then as I moved [to the United States] and then Playboy…or being married to Tommy [Lee], or whatever it was…I just always wanted to be the best I could be at that. What is a Playmate? What is a rock star’s wife? What is a Baywatch [star]?”

Which is why, she said, she’s now “shedding those layers” in an effort to discover who she is when she’s not playing a role.

Looking back at when Pamela Anderson was young, some photos show her as the sex symbol we’d learned to associate her with. But others show the actor with a softer, more laid-back style that we didn’t see very often in the ’90s.
