Megan Thee Stallion Is Officially Working On Her Own Anime

Chart-topping rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, is well-known for hit songs like “Savage” and Hot Girl Summer.” Now, she has announced plans to explore a new artistic medium: anime. Megan has recently announced her plans to create an anime series of her own, telling radio broadcaster, Stationhead, ““I’m still working on it, but I got caught up on my music. The anime is definitely on the way.” The announcement, posted on X by @PopBase, is exciting news for both the music and anime communities.

Megan Thee Stallion has been very busy lately with her music career, explaining the delay in making her anime series. Just last week, MEGAN: Act II dropped. The album is a deluxe version of the MEGAN album which came out on June 28, 2024. This re-release of the iconic album added 13 brand-new tracks, including remixes of familiar songs featuring artists like popular K-pop girl group, TWICE, Flo Milli, and RM of BTS. When Megan first released in June, it debuted at number one on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts quickly, and Act II is also doing well, at number three.
