Kylie Jenner Proves the Naked Manicure Is the Biggest Holiday Nail Trend of 2025

It’s the most wonderful time of the year to embrace a natural nail. Just ask Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber, and, most recently, Kylie Jenner.

On December 16, the 27-year-old reality star and business mogul posed for a mirror selfie in a winter white lacy knit minidress, getting into the holiday spirit with a snowman emoji in the caption. Considering Kylie Jenner is practically queen of the bathroom selfie and sheer party looks, the most surprising aspect of the image were her short natural nails, which seem to have lost the classic French tip she was sporting in her previous post.

Many celebs have been ditching dark winter shades for a more natural glossy look this season, with vanilla chai nails having their moment earlier this fall. However, the holidays are typically a time to ramp up glitz and glamour, especially for a figure like Hailey Bieber, who is typically the source of each new food-based nail trend.

For Christmas 2022, Bieber rocked a red-tipped version of her famous glazed donut nails, which her nail artist Zola Ganzorigt aptly dubbed, “candy cane glazed nails.” (BTW, Ganzorigt recently updated that design with a bit more flair.)

This year, however, Bieber may be taking a more neutral approach to the holidays by trading her brown cinnamon nails—which were perfectly timed for the release of Rhode’s cinnamon roll peptide lip treatment—for a simple nude nail. Despite her latest peppermint holiday drop, which was delivered to influencers in fuzzy red packaging, Bieber seems content to rock the most neutral version of her iconic glazed manicure.
