Redditor OutrageousBreak9065 explained in a post on the Sims 4 subreddit that their Sim is always getting job offers ranked five or above that they decline. However, once OutrageousBreak9065 realized each job comes with three vacation days upfront, they’ve been using those days to make money while doing nothing before moving on to the next job. Fellow Sims players commented on the post that they wish they had known about this glitch sooner. The post gives a quick breakdown of how the “glitch” works, stating:

“She’s a stay at home mum and the dad makes plenty so I’ve just kept it that way. But then I realised you automatically get 3 days vacation when you start a new job. So I have just been accepting new jobs, taking the 3 days of vacation and then quitting. Money for doing nothing!”
