Ewan McGregor Shares Exciting Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 Update, Hopes For Hayden Christensen’s Return

Ewan McGregor has more ideas for Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 and some are highly-anticipated. The Star Wars show originally followed Kenobi’s journey to save Princess Leia Organa from a kidnapping attempt, only to discover that he was the true target all along. With constant conflict, Kenobi was forced to face off against his former apprentice, Darth Vader. The show has not yet been approved for season 2, but there may be a new hope for its return.

While speaking at L.A. Comic Con, McGregor opened up about some of his plans for season 2. Two Twitter users recorded his comments for a wider audience:

@JamieCinematics reports that McGregor is working with the producers and considering flashbacks with Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen. He also hopes to wear Clone Wars armor.

@rotsanakins reports that McGregor still has plans for several more stories and is still working on developing a follow-up to season 1. He even went so far as to correct the word “hoping” to “exploring“, which is a sign that confirmation of Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 could be on the way.
