Since her first appearance in Dragon Age: The Veilguard‘s predecessor, Inquisition, Lace Harding has been a sought after character to romance. As this dwarf rogue caught the attention of fans long ago, many have yearned for much more than just the flirtatious dialogue that Dragon Age: Inquisition allowed them to exchange. With her only able to admit to having feelings for the Inquisitor and nothing more, a further development of a relationship has been on the cards for some time.




While her character in the base game of Dragon Age: Inquisition wouldn’t allow things to go further, it never stopped her being one of the most requested characters for fans to take things further with. As her strong characterization as Lead Scout for the Inquisition drew interest, it’s clear that Harding is well-rounded, warm, and wanted for many reasons. With her new magical abilities, a backstory of ten years chasing Dragon Age‘s Solas across Thedas between games and a willingness to allow the player in as more than a friend, Harding is sure to be adored in so many new ways.

With Harding joining the player from almost right at the beginning of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, they’ll experience most of their story throughout the game with her by their side. Through checking the map between major quests, players can be sure to catch if Harding has any dialogue to exchange with the player, allowing them the opportunity for flirtatious comments indicated by a heart.


There’s much more to it than that though, as giving Harding the Hinterlands Oak gift will also massively boost their relationship with her too. Companion quests are also an important factor in building a relationship with Harding, as players work through “An Unfamiliar Sense,” “The Waiting Stone,” “The Bond Rekindled,” and “The Heart of the Titan.” With added cutscenes and story when romancing, players are sure to be thrilled to see this beloved character given more attention as they romance her in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is the fourth entry in the Dragon Age franchise and a sequel to 2014’s Dragon Age: Inquisition. A classic character, Solas, will return as the new game’s antagonist. The game will retain many of the series’ staples, such as multiple dialogue options, party choices, romantic options, and more. Dreadwolf will act as the first direct sequel in the Dragon Age franchise.
