90 Day Fiancé’s Rayne Slams Chidi For Allegedly Scamming Fans After Announcing Life-Changing News About Eyesight

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Rayne Fernandez is accusing Chidi Ikpeamaeze of being a scammer and lying about his blindness for GoFundMe money. Chidi from Nigeria met Rayne on social media five years ago. Rayne and Chidi were in a long-distance relationship. Chidi had initially hidden the fact that he was blind from Rayne. Chidi lost one eye after an apple fell on it and later, he fell and injured his other eye on a wooden desk. Rayne and Chidi split in season 7 when she felt her sister was interfering in their relationship.

However, Rayne is now claiming that “Chidis eyes can NOT be fixed.” According to Rayne, Chidi’s eyes are “deteriorating” and two professionals have confirmed that. He has no hope for sight because his “eyes are too far gone” per Rayne’s fresh accusations. She insists that Chidi is using excuses and is lying to fans. She added that Chidi is asking fans to GoFundMe him the money so his family and friends can use it. “It did not work out with Rayne, but I’d still like the money,” he added. As per Rayne, liars should not be paid.

What Rayne’s Latest Accusation Against Chidi Means After Split

Rayne is accusing Chidi of being a liar. She wants him to be honest about what he wants the money for with his fans. In his appeal, Chidi had explained that the funds would go towards his travel expenses to America, which would include his flights, transportation, visa application fees, medical exams, stay, meals, etc. Chidi expects to be in the U.S. for several days for consultation and tests which will be conducted on him at world-class vision facilities. He also wants to start a ChidiLight Empowerment Foundation for the Blind to support visually impaired individuals like him.

However, Chidi had visited a professional with Rayne on a Before the 90 Days episode where the doctor told him that he had cataracts. Chidi was relieved since he was scared it was glaucoma, but the doctor added that Chidi’s condition wouldn’t be cured because the pressure in his eyes was very high. His right eye was 59 and his left eye was 63, compared to the normal, which was 11 to 21. Chidi’s eyes would have to be removed entirely if he did not manage his condition. He seems to have forgotten this was revealed on the show.

If Chidi wanted money for whatever reason, he could have simply told his fans he needed some without lying about it.
