Here and Now: ‘A Story of Bones’ highlights traces of slave trade

NEW YORK (WABC) — On this edition of “Here and Now,” we examine the story behind the discovery of the single largest remaining trace of the transatlantic slave trade.

The documentary, ” A Story of Bones,” breaks new ground in our understanding of this period in history.

Also in this episode, we meet former drug kingpins who have become crime fighters. The Feurtado brothers were once infamous, but are now famous for making life better for their neighbors in Jamaica, Queens.

We will also explore why Black people are more likely to die from colorectal cancer.

And we’ll meet the founder of The Noble Touch, a nonprofit dedicated to helping you take control of your own healing.
