Sometimes it’s the little things that count. Well, little-ish. On February 4, Meghan Markle posted a makeup-free selfie video to her newly revived Instagram showing the results of her Good Deed of the Day: replacing a beloved Billie Eilish T-shirt (with interest) for a teenage girl who lost her home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
Back in January, Meghan and Prince Harry opened their home to loved ones who had been forced to evacuate due to the Eaton and Palisades fires. Later they visited Altadena, where one teen girl had started her own charity, Altadena Girls, to help her peers recover after the Eaton wildfire. While she was there, Meghan explained in her IG video, she met a girl who was devastated to lose a T-shirt she had just gotten from a Billie Eilish concert.

So Meghan Markle decided to pull some of the powerful strings at her disposal—she managed to replace the girl’s Billie Eilish T-shirt and more. After getting in touch with Eilish, Meghan was sent several pieces of merch, including T-shirts, a lunch box (“Is that a thing? The lunch box thing? This is when I feel really old,” joked Meghan), and a signed copy of Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft vinyl record. Meghan added, “Huge thank you, Billie Eilish. This is going to mean so much to her.” She added an extra shout-out to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, who apparently were instrumental in getting this personalized care package over the finish line.
Meghan is dressed low-key in the clip, wearing jeans and a custom sweatshirt with the names of her children embroidered on the collar.
In her caption Meghan wrote, “Let’s keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires. Thanks to everyone who made this possible but most importantly, thank you to our first responders who are the community’s real heroes.”
