Meri Brown from Sister Wives is openly discussing her plans to remarry while also subtly throwing shade at Kody Brown. Meri and Kody tied the knot in April 1990, shortly after they started dating. In 1993, they became a polygamous couple by adding Janelle Brown to their family. Christine Brown joined in 1994. While Kody had happy and healthy marriages with his three wives, things changed significantly after Robyn Brown joined the family in 2010. Four years later, Kody legally divorced Meri in order to marry Robyn and adopt her three children from a previous marriage.

As Kody’s favoritism towards Robyn continued, his first three wives began feeling neglected and unsupported. The Brown family began to unravel during the COVID-19 pandemic as Kody distanced himself from his adult children. Ultimately, In November 2021, Christine finally decided to leave Kody. Janelle and Meri also chose to separate from Kody between 2022-2023. Over a three-year period, he lost all three wives and ended up in a monogamous relationship with Robyn. While the departure of his wives saddens Kody, he also seems relieved that they left so he could focus solely on Robyn and their children.

She also mentioned that she prefers a taller man, which seemed like a subtle criticism of Kody, who is 5-foot-11, only 4 inches taller than Meri.

For example, when Meri had just left Kody in January 2023, she posted a quote on her Instagram Story from an unknown source saying, “never apologize for having high standards. People who really want to be in your life will rise up to meet them.” In another cryptic message on her Instagram Story, Meri implied she wouldn’t tolerate negative behavior from someone simply because she loves them unconditionally.

Although Meri really wanted to salvage her relationship with Kody in the past, she is no longer conflicted about her feelings for him.

Despite making progress in her professional and personal life, some signs suggest that Meri still has a soft spot for Kody. She seems unable to let go of the emotions and feelings he evokes in her.

Despite Kody’s cruel behavior towards her, Meri is willing to be cordial with him. Even two years after their separation, she still thinks about him often, although she only expresses her feelings subtly through jabs and insults.
