Celebrity osteopath who spied on students changing ‘agrees to work with police’

A celebrity osteopath who has already pleaded guilty to spying on female students is under further police investigation after more recording devices were found.

Torben Hersborg was due to be sentenced for three charges of voyeurism today after he made at least 60 videos of women over four years.

The 63-year-old was even holding carrying a camera and a telescope when he was arrested, and was also wearing black gloves with the back seat of his car covered in bin liners.

But the hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court was adjourned after it was revealed police were yet to examine a number of recording devices.

He boasts on his Instagram that his practice is ‘trusted by Olympic champions’.

He admitted incidents of spying on December 10, 14, and 21 at a student halls of residence in Islington, north London.

Prosecutor Zahid Hussain said: ‘He was outside university halls of residence, spying on female students, filming and recording them.’

But Thursday’s hearing was adjourned after it was revealed that police were yet to examine a number of recording devices that were seized on his arrest.

The court heard that Hersborg had agreed to assist officers with their investigations, and he is due to appear at the same court on January 30.

He has been remanded in custody.
