What Happens In The Good Cop/Bad Cop Trailer
Adam Brody Wants To Know If Meester’s Character Is Married
The trailer begins with Lou insisting there’s a crime problem. Hank pushes back, saying there isn’t. Lou is clearly frustrated, though. She’s not impressed with the people she works with. It’s shown that they are indeed the bumbling sort. She asks for a partner, at least, although she immediately regrets her request when she realizes she’ll be teaming with her brother.
The cast of Good Cop/Bad Cop also includes Devon Terrell, Grace Chow, Blazey Best, Philippa Northeast, William McKenna, Shamita Siva and Scott Lee.
Henry is shown to be abrasive, with lacking social skills. It’s clear that the two siblings don’t get along. As the trailer progresses, Lou and Henry appear to be working on a case. They’re stopped by Nobody Wants This star Adam Brody, who has been married to Meester since 2014. Brody’s character is a bit of a cowboy and he asks whether Lou and Henry are married. The siblings react to this, of course, with disgust.
Brody and Meester have acted together in the past, including in the sitcom Single Parents, and the movies Life Partners, The Oranges, and River Wild.
Good Cop/Bad Cop hails from Jeff Wachtel’s Future Shack Entertainment and Australian producer Jungle Entertainment in association with ITV Studios It’s executive produced by Wachtel, Trent O’Donnell, and Chloe Rickard. The project is part of the revamped CW’s focus on international productions, though it also represents Meester’s long-awaited return to a leading TV role.
Our Take On Good Cop/Bad Cop
It’s Good To See Meester Back
Although she’s popped up in varied TV and film roles since Gossip Girl ended, Meester hasn’t had a major TV role since the end of her ABC comedy Single Parents. That looks to change in the coming year, as she’ll be part of The Buccaneers season 2 in an undisclosed but significant role. She’s also set to appear in the pilot episode of the untitled HBO comedy pilot from Bottoms star Rachel Sennott. Timed with Good Cop/Bad Cop, fans could be seeing a lot more of a breakout teen drama star.
