How ‘RHOSLC’ Made Us Obsessed With Kérastase Thermique All Over Again
The prestige, salon-quality brand has long been a favorite among haircare lovers, and Sydney Sweeney recently became its Global Brand Ambassador. Their products are also beloved by hairstylists (see: my experience last week), and Glamour has featured their products in stories about the best hair masks, the best hair glosses, and more.
Still, something hit differently when Barlow leaned into Bateman’s ear and whispered those now-iconic words.
“We’ve definitely seen a surge of interest in Kérastase Thermique since the episode aired,” says Battle. Although the brand declined to share specific sales figures with Glamour, there have been significant spikes in Google search trends for both “Kérastase Thermique,” and “Kérastase Thermatique” since the episode aired.

The brand also jumped into the conversation on social, sharing a quiz on how to find the best product for your hair. They even leaned into the “thermatique” of it all.

In the following week’s episode, the brand got even more airtime. Katsanevas gifted Marks jumbo bottles of Kérastase’s shampoo and conditioner for her bat mitzvah (not exactly a traditional gift for the Jewish rite of passage, but Angie is a salon owner). Marks, looking for a reason to return the gift, discovered there were sulfates in the formula.
