Silo Season 3 Renewed At Apple TV+, Show To End With Also-Confirmed Season 4

Silo has been renewed for seasons 3 and 4. Based on the book trilogy of the same name by Hugh Howey, the Apple TV+ series revolves around humanity living in a 144-level underground silo due to the toxic world outside. However, engineer Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) gradually learns that there are many dark secrets being kept within the silo and about the outside world. Silo season 2’s expansive story has seen Juliette’s search for truth and survival extend beyond the silo she has lived in for her entire life.

Apple TV+ has now shared that Silo has been renewed for seasons 3 and 4, along with confirmation that the series will end with season 4. Seasons 3 and 4 will finish adapting Howey’s book trilogy that the series is based on. The critically acclaimed Silo season 2 will continue releasing new episodes weekly up to January 17. The Series’ Mysteries Will Be Answered

Silo‘s season 3 and 4 renewal confirms that the Apple TV+ series will get to finish telling its intriguing dystopian story. Too many other series with a similar sense of intrigue and mystery have been prematurely canceled, and it is heartening that the same fate will not befall Silo. The full story of what happened to the outside world, how and why humanity ended up in underground silos, along with the journeys of Juliette and the rest of Silo‘s cast of characters, will be told in their entirety.

While Apple TV+ has canceled series like the musical comedy Schmigadoon!, the streaming platform is generally better than many of its competitors at renewing their shows, which has thankfully extended to Silo. Since so much of the series hinges on its mysteries, it would have been disappointing for the story’s tantalizing questions to go unanswered. Apple TV+ is ensuring that their adaptation of Silo will be complete, that there will be payoff for the show’s various mysteries, and that the series will not needlessly extend itself beyond the source material.

It is a relief to know that Silo‘s future is secure at Apple TV+. The Silo season 3 and 4 renewal ensures an optimal audience experience for the remainder of season 2 and for the rest of the series, as viewers can enjoy and be fully invested in the series without worrying about the threat of cancelation. Silo is one of the best science-fiction series in years and that will undoubtedly remain the case throughout the now confirmed seasons 3 and 4.
