Trains at London’s Euston station cancelled and delayed amid rail chaos

Trains at London’s Euston station have fallen victim to Storm Darragh, leaving thousands of people stranded on a busy pre-Christmas weekend.

Winds of 90mph brought trees onto rail tracks and electric cables, forcing trains to be cancelled at multiple stations across the UK.

Disruptions are expected to continue throughout Sunday, while workers attempt to clear debris.

Hours after the Met Office issued a red ‘danger to life’ warning flights have also been cancelled or are facing long delays at HeathrowManchester and Dublin Airports.
