Sicko busted for fatally strangling woman outside Times Square hotel after random stalking: sources
A sicko cops accused of fatally choking a woman outside of a Times Square hotel was arrested in New Jersey on Tuesday, according to law enforcement sources.
Jaheem Warren, 33, stalked and strangled a woman he had targeted at random in Midtown on Oct. 29 and dumped her body on the sidewalk in front of the Riu Plaza New York Times Square on West 46th street.
He was arrested in Prospect Park by the United States Marshal Service and charged with two counts of murder.
The victim, believed to be in her 30s, was taken off life support on Nov. 8, sources said.
Warren has an extensive convicted criminal history in New Jersey, records show.
When asked by reporters outside of Midtown North precinct if he assaulted the woman, Warren, in handcuffs, said “no” before he was placed in the back of a cruiser.
In addition to the two murder charges, he was also charged with two counts of assault and two counts of strangulation, sources said.
