Girl, 12, who vanished without her phone found ‘safe and well’

Police have issued an urgent appeal to help find a missing 12-year-old girl who is without her mobile phone.

Olivia was last seen on Shaw Road near to Derker tram stop in Oldham at around 9:30pm last night.

But she has been since been found ‘safe and well’, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed.

Police launched an urgent search for her, describing her as 5ft1 tall, of slim build, with shoulder length light brown hair worn in a ponytail.

Officers said she was last seen wearing a cream coat with a big fur hood, brown pants that flare at the bottom and white Nike Air Force One trainers.

Olivia was not believed to be in possession of a mobile phone and has no access to money.

She is known to travel via the tram network, and is known to frequent Ashton-under-Lyne, Moss Side, Oldham and Manchester city centre.
