All That We Know So Far About The Flash
Prayers have finally been answered. DC Comics fans have been waiting for the moment when The Flash will get his own spotlight. While The Flash movie might seem like it is being downplayed for the moment, it could very well be the big comeback that DC movies need at this point in time. The list of characters in the movie is starting to take shape and there are rumours that we might be getting a double Barry Allen, both played by Ezra Miller.
The Flash is one of DC’s most popular heroes. The movie is so highly anticipated because it has been a long time coming! Although this will be his first solo appearance in a movie format, The Flash has appeared in other movies before including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Flash also made numerous appearances on the famous television series Arrow before acquiring its own series. The Flash is also popular in video games and in the online gambling industry, making its appearance in a Playtech slot that is featured at some great casinos, although NJ online casinos are still waiting to get their hands on it.
Set to release on November 4th, 2022, The Flash is one out of seven live-action adaptations, including Aquaman 2, from the DC Comics that will be releasing till the end of 2022. We will have to blame Ezra Miller for having to wait so long for the movie release since he is also taking part in the third Fantastic Beasts movie which will release in November 2021.
Travelling through time in the right circumstances, The Flash is quite unique as a character. The movie will tell its own version of Flashpoint, the DC Comics story that altered most of the top superheroes’ histories that we are familiar with. Hint, hint: we can expect an appearance from Batman in this movie, or rather, Batmen.
The film will link Earth 1 and 2 which means that there might be alternate versions of characters, including The Flash himself and Batman, played by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton. Sasha Calle has the role of Supergirl in this movie and other cast members include Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, and Kiersey Clemons.
Since the release date is far away, there is no official trailer as of yet, and no official rating either. We know that there has been a lot of confusion when it comes to the movie’s director. In 2015, author Seth Graham-Smith was set to make his directorial entrance with The Flash. However, Warner Bros. cut off his involvement in the project due to creative differences. He was replaced by Rick Famuyiwa who also cut ties with the film in 2016. The project reawakened in 2018 with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, previous screenplay writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, Ezra Miller was developing a competing screenplay which caused both writers to exit the film. Finally, we have Andy Muschietti, and he looks like he’s here to stay!
We’re looking forward to a trailer soon so we can get to know more about The Flash’s story. Stay tuned!
