Hunt for killer after boy stabbed to death in street fight in south east London
A teenage boy has been stabbed to death in south east London.
Police were called just after 6.30pm on Sunday to reports of a disturbance in Eglinton Road, Woolwich.
The boy, who was found with stab wounds, died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and a crime scene remains in place.
No arrests have been made with police still searching for the knifeman.
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called approximately 18:35hrs on Sunday, 22 September to reports of a disturbance on Eglinton Road, SE18.
‘Officers attended and found a teenage boy with a stab injury. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics at the scene, he sadly died a short time later.
‘His next of kin have been informed. A crime scene remains in place.
‘There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.’
