Urgent recall of popular dipping sauce over fears it contains metal

A dipping sauce is being urgently recalled after pieces of metal were found inside.

Carley’s are recalling Carley’s Organic Light Raw Tahini because it may be unsafe to eat.

The Food Standards Agency sad: ‘If you have bought the above product do not eat it.

‘Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund with or without a receipt.’

The 250g and 425g pack sizes with the best before date December 16 2025 and batch code TR4130 are affected.

The Office for Product Safety and Standards is warning users to stop using the Pro Breeze 2L Air Fryer due to a technical fault which could see the device burst into flames.

The air fryer overheats easily, leaving it vulnerable to fires, they said, urging customers to unplug the device from its power source and return the product.

The model, which is sold on Amazon, does not meet safety requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

The affected air fryer has a model number is AF-03-UK and barcode of 5060596022409, the 2L also has an Amazon barcode of X0014E52NJ.

All air fryers sold between September 2020 to February 2022, including the numbers 20061101, 20061102, 20101001, 20101002, 20120903, 21012603 and 21031540 have been recalled.
