Through 3 Quarters

The Toronto Raptors are on the road but looking no worse for wear. It’s anybody’s game after three quarters, but Toronto is ahead of the Charlotte Hornets 80-75.

The Raptors have been relying on power forward Pascal Siakam, who has 17 points and seven assists along with nine rebounds, and shooting guard Gary Trent Jr., who has 22 points. One thing to keep an eye out for is Scottie Barnes’ foul situation as he currently sits at four.

The top scorer for Charlotte has been shooting guard Terry Rozier (17 points).

the Hornets have lost 85% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this season, so this one seems just about wrapped up

Who’s Playing

Toronto @ Charlotte

Current Records: Toronto 28-23; Charlotte 28-26

What to Know

The Toronto Raptors have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m. ET Monday at Spectrum Center after having had a few days off. Toronto should still be riding high after a victory, while Charlotte will be looking to right the ship.

The Raptors didn’t have too much trouble with the Atlanta Hawks at home this past Friday as they won 125-114. It was another big night for Toronto’s power forward Pascal Siakam, who had 33 points along with nine boards.

Meanwhile, the matchup between Charlotte and the Miami Heat this past Saturday was not particularly close, with Charlotte falling 104-86. The Hornets were down 81-59 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr. wasn’t much of a difference maker for Charlotte; Oubre Jr. finished with only nine points on 3-for-15 shooting in his 29 minutes on the court.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Raptors are expected to win a tight contest. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a five-game streak of ATS wins.

Toronto is now 28-23 while Charlotte sits at 28-26. A couple offensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Toronto has only been able to knock down 44% percent of their shots, which is the fifth lowest field goal percentage in the league. The Hornets’ offense has more to brag about, as they they rank first in the league when it comes to points per game, with 113.6 on average.
