NBA DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for March 20 include Terry Rozier

The 2022-23 NBA season continues on Monday with six games on the NBA schedule, and the NBA DFS player pool is loaded with big names despite the overall lack of depth. Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid, Domantas Sabonis and Julius Randle are all scheduled to be in action on Monday night. Meanwhile, Jalen Brunson returned on Saturday from a foot injury that cost him five games overall and should be available again, while Kyrie Irving also recently returned from a three-game absence.

But loading big names like that in your NBA DFS lineups requires you to make sacrifices elsewhere to remain under the NBA DFS salary cap. So, who are some of the underpriced players that are going to step into larger roles on Monday to provide value? Before making any NBA DFS picks for Monday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Sunday, McClure highlighted Heat center Bam Adebayo as one of his top NBA DFS picks. The result: Adebayo finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots, returning 48 points on DraftKings and 47.5 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Monday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Monday, March 20

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Monday is Rockets guard Jalen Green ($6,800 on DraftKings and $7,500 on FanDuel). The No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft earned All-Rookie honors after averaging 17.3 points per game last season, and he’s taking another step forward in his development in 2022-23.

Green has quietly averaged 22.0 points per game for a struggling Rockets squad and has eclipsed the 30-point mark on 12 occasions. That includes his fourth 40-point game of the year on Sunday against the Pelicans and he’ll take on another bad defense on Monday against the Warriors. Golden State ranks 25th in the NBA in points allowed per game (118.1) and has allowed 131.3 points per game during a current three-game losing streak. Green (thigh) is listed as questionable for Monday but is a must-start if he suits up.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Hornets guard Terry Rozier ($7,900 on DraftKings, $8,400 on FanDuel). The former Louisville star is now in his eighth NBA season and he’s a proven scorer, having averaged at least 18.0 points per game in every season since joining the Hornets four years ago.

With LaMelo Ball (ankle) out for the season, Rozier has become the primary scorer and is often used as the primary ball-handler and distributor as well. Rozier is averaging 21.3 points, 5.0 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game this season and is averaging 21.0 points, 6.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds since Ball left the lineup on March 1.
