The charges filed Wednesday against Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa include 32 allegations of attempted first-degree murder in the attack last month at the King Soopers store.

The charging document lists 19 new victims — including 11 law enforcement officers — that Alissa is accused of trying to kill when he opened fire at the grocery chain on March 22.

Prosecutors allege he tried to kill them either intentionally or through “extreme indifference” to their lives.

The accused gunman also faces 10 new counts for allegedly using a large-capacity magazine, which was banned by state lawmakers in response to recent mass shootings.

Alissa was already facing 10 first-degree murder counts in connection with the shooting.
