A man was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Patricia Holland who was last seen on Saturday July 24 near her home in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk. Family reported her missing the following day when they couldn’t contact her.
And now Norfolk Police say a man in his 40s from the town has been arrested and is being questioned.
Ms Holland’s home remains cordoned off by officers, reports Norfolk Live.
A spokesman for the force said: “A seal remains in place at the property and a man in his 40s from the Gorleston area has since been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned at Gorleston Police Investigation Centre.
“Emergency services, including the coastguard and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, have been involved in searching the areas near to Pat’s home.”
Ms Holland is described as being of a slight build, around 5ft 7 but walks slightly bent over so may appear shorter.
She has a pale complexion and grey/brown shoulder length hair.
The pensioner has mobility problems and usually walks with a walking frame, police say.
