Commuters face a chaotic start to the week after London Underground lines have been suspended and trains delayed following a signalling fault.

Make your coffee extra strong if you travel on the District and Metropolitan lines or the London Overground this morning.

The Tube and the Overground are partly suspended because of signalling issues at Rickmansworth and Kew Gardens.

Chiltern Railways trains between Amersham and London Marylebone have also been hit by severe delays of up to 60 minutes and cancellations. The issue is not expected to be resolved until 9am.
