The UK ticket-holder has landed the huge prize, just days after another British winner scooped £122million at the beginning of the month. Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, confirmed tonight’s huge win.
The winning EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers are: 10, 11.
Mr Carter highlighted the importance of the EuroMillions prizes in helping Britons throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
He said: ”National Lottery players make a huge difference to National Lottery Good Causes across the country raising, on average, around £30M every week.
“Thanks to National Lottery players, over £1BN has been distributed to date across the UK to help tackle the impact of coronavirus.”
EuroMillions tickets are sold in nine countries, being the UK, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Irish Republic, Portugal and Switzerland.
Earlier this month, a lucky UK ticket-holder won £122 million and entered the Sunday Times top 1,000 richest people list from 2020.
It marks the fifth-highest jackpot EuroMillions has ever paid out.
After collecting their winnings, the winner, who matched the five EuroMillions numbers as well as the two Lucky Star numbers, took home a total of £122,550,350.80.
The UK’s largest ever win was £170 million in October 2019, with the UK winner choosing to stay anonymous.
